5.5 Staff Training & Awareness
Delivering mandatory equality and diversity training at least every three years.
5.6 Monitoring & Evaluating Equality Strategies
- Setting annual targets for improvement, measuring outcomes effectively.
- Tracking student diversity metrics, including applications, admissions, achievements, and retention rates.
- Monitoring staff diversity, recruitment trends, and development opportunities.
- Annual self-assessments to review and address imbalances.
5.7 Compliance with Legislation
- Ensuring compliance with anti-discrimination laws in education, employment, and service provision.
- Reviewing policies regularly to reflect legal and regulatory updates.
6. Complaints & Resolution
All complaints related to harassment or bullying should be raised under Lifeways Learning Centre’s harassment procedures.
Other concerns regarding unfair treatment can be addressed through the Student Complaints Procedure, Staff Grievance Procedure, or Whistleblowing Procedure.
